Belo is known for being associated both professionally and personally with many Filipino celebrities and politicians. She was divorced from businessman Atom Henares Film/music video director Quark Henares and Cristalle Henares are her two children. She is the adopted daughter of former Philippine Congressman and official delegate to the 1971 Philippine Constitutional Convention, famed Attorney Enrique Belo. she has a controversial love affair with Dr. Hyden Kho Jr.
In May 2009, Dr. Hayden Kho faced a controversy about his sex videos with different female celebrities. One of them is Katrina Halili, a finalist for the rality based tv talent search of GMA network, Star Struck. Halili later became an award winning Filipina actress and also an endorser for the Belo Medical Group.
